A Track Record of Problem-Solving

When our schools faced financial crises in 2008-2009, Anant joined the Mamaroneck School Board to find and deliver solutions. Accomplishments during his time on the School Board include hiring a new Superintendent, signing new Union contracts, creating a Citizens Financial Advisory Committee to better utilize the financial expertise of our residents, and significantly improving the financial stability of the School Budget.

When COVID created financial challenges, he joined the Town Board to help navigate the recovery. While on the Town Board, Anant was instrumental in improving the financial performance including communicating the reasoning and tradeoffs of the annual budget, as well as being the Board liaison to both the Planning and Zoning Boards while focused on responsible housing growth.

Now, he is ready to take on the challenges facing our District and Westchester County.

Fighting for Flooding Solutions

Having experienced three major floods in his own home, Anant understands firsthand the devastation flooding brings. He knows that no single town or village can solve this alone, which is why he is committed to securing County resources and working collaboratively to make real progress.

A New Voice for Representation

If elected, Anant would be the first South Asian and Indian American on the Westchester County Board of Legislators — a historic step forward in ensuring that every resident feels heard, valued, and represented.

Engaging the Community

Local government works best when it listens. Anant wants to inspire more residents to get involved in decision-making, because better solutions come from diverse ideas and perspectives.
